Papasan, Aponogeton, Beatniks and wonderbulbs…

It is negative 27 degrees today and boy do I feel fine. David is binging on tofu and hiding under the blankets. I have already braved the frozen tundra but the worth of the excursion is yet to be determined. I  am sitting here learning about the magic of wonderbulbs- aka Beta plants. Our Beta  is hovering over his newly blossomed aponogeton  with a wary look in eyes and a slight sneer on his fishy lips. I am comforted by the recitation of Latin plant names and the veritable cacophony of the casio.
